It uses patented redox alloy in the top tank and a mix of patented carbon and patented potassium-based ion-exchange resin in the bottom tank. This one double-tank water filtration system is installed on the main water line to the whole house. It self cleans as determined by a computer, typically every 2-10 days based on your water quality and water usage.
